To Sunset Suite, at Harbour Beach Condos, Frederiksted
From the St. Croix Airport, the trip is about 15 minutes, or 8
miles.
Remember to drive on the left!
After going past the airport security gate, turn right out of the
airport onto Route 64 West.
At the first traffic light, turn left onto Melvin Evans Highway,
also known as Rt. 66, going west. Remember to stay in the left lane
(the closest lane) through your turn. You will veer left WELL before
the traffic light - so be alert.
Follow Route 66 west for 2.5 miles to the flashing light. Get into
the right lane and turn right onto Rt. 661 north. There will be
sign for Emancipation Drive.
Follow Rt. 661 north for a 1/2 mile to the first traffic light.
Get in the left lane, to go straight.
Go through the traffic light, onto Rt. 70, still heading north,
and go about 1 mile to the end.
Turn left onto Fisher St. / Rt. 702, and go about 1/4 mile, almost
to the water.
Just before the water, turn left onto Veterans Shore Drive. It's
the last left turn before the water.
Go about 1/2 mile on Veterans Shore Drive, heading south.
You will pass Sand Castle on the Beach on the right (nice restaurant
there, and bar!). Continue around the curve and you will see the
Harbour Beach condo complex on the right. You must have a clicker
to get into the complex.
Our unit number is C101 - and our parking spot is just inside the
gate on the left. It is clearly marked.
If you need to ask anybody for directions, tell them you're going
to Sandcastle On The Beach.
